My research aims at the convergence of mechanics and materials of soft pressure sensors. Particularly, I conducted a series of studies integrating experimental and theoretical approaches to understanding the electromechanical behavior of resistive, capacitive, and hybrid response (combination of resistive and capacitive response )pressure sensors and leveraging the guidance for the materials and structural design of hybrid response pressure sensors.

Research Interests

– Material and structural design of pressure sensors.

– Fabrication and characterization of resistive and capacitive pressure sensors

– Electri-mechanical modeling of resistive and capacitive pressure sensors.
